One of London’s leading independent accounting, tax and business advisory firms, Wilson Wright, has been shortlisted as one of the Top 10 employers in the UK for their size by the prestigious Investors in People – and is up for a grand prize later this year.
Having initially been reaccredited by the organisation earlier this year, the staff and partners at the City-based firm were excited to learn that they had been selected for this further accolade.
The researchers at Investors in People were impressed with Wilson Wright’s clear set of values and its investment in its team. Its ability to attract new joiners and its focus on ethics and work/life balance were also commended.
Over the last few years, Wilson Wright has worked closely in partnership with the team from Investors in People to support the firm’s ambitions of delivering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
As a global organisation, Investors in People helped Wilson Wright to benchmark its own practice against other organisations so that the firm could really understand what good looks like.
Speaking about Wilson Wright’s inclusion in the Top 10 Investors in People list, Adam Cramer, the firm’s CEO, said: “It is a real honour to be recognised by such a prestigious global organisation. We continue to support and invest in our people, which is reflected in the high levels of recruitment and retention we enjoy.
“Our team are our greatest asset and so it is only right that we put our efforts into ensuring they have a great place to work, where they can flourish and enjoy exciting careers.
“Investors in People have been extremely supportive throughout this process and helped us to understand the steps we need to take to provide a market-leading work environment.”
Investors in People were also impressed by Wilson Wright’s inclusivity and its approach to ESG, something which is highly valued by the entire team.
Wilson Wright has clear aspirations to match the team’s growth and development with the firm’s own successful growth and expansion, which is demonstrated through constant investment in training and support.
“This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the support of our entire team, all of whom are behind our drive to deliver exceptional services to our clients.”
Wilson Wright will find out whether it has taken the top spot for Employer of the Year (50-249 people) at the Investors in People Awards 2023, taking place on 14 November at the Old Billingsgate.
